Prayer for health

#health Did you know that prayer can help you have better health?

If, believe it or not, prayer helps human beings enjoy better health, keeps you cheerful, vigorous, confidently and protected. This causes serotonin, the hormone of happiness to increase and what effects does it have? Increases mood, social behavior, appetite, digestion, sleep, memory.

According to studies show that meditation and prayer reduce the risk of heart problems and increase by 30% telomerase, an enzyme associated with cell longevity.

You can also put it into practice and pray for those people who are going through a bad time or illness. That's why I'd like to share a quote from writer Elena G. White.

“Scripture says, “It is necessary to pray always, and not to faint” (Luke 18:1); and if there is any time when men feel need to pray, it is when strength decays and life seems to escape them. Many times healthy people forget the wonderful favors they receive lavishly, day after day, year after year, and do not pay praises to God for its benefits. But when the disease occurs, then they remember God. When human strength is missing, man feels need for divine help. And never does our merciful God depart from the soul who sincerely asks for help. He is our refuge in disease and health.” Ministry of Healing, Chapter 60, Elena G White.

According to Positive Psychology, people who have a sense of transcendence - live in relation to something higher than themselves and feel encouraged to cooperate with others - have greater strength in facing challenges and making sense of their lives. It is associated with qualities such as enjoyment of beauty, gratitude, hope, forgiveness, enthusiasm, spirituality and Christianity.

So remember the benefits of prayer and raise a prayer to the Creator in every circumstance, whether good or bad.
