Having a computer in our country in optimal operation is sometimes complicated, although it continues to work and we do not perceive any change, the constant fluctuations and interruptions of the electrical system, they dent the system of the machine or software, in other cases it may the damage go further and affect some component such as the power source, processor, motherboard or other.

Every time we turn on our computer, the operating system goes to certain folders and from there it displays a series of files necessary for its operation, abrupt blackouts do not allow it to collect and return what it takes from its folders, in Sometimes these files are damaged, others are lost; affecting, depending on the type, certain functions of the system or the entire system.
The operating systems preventing this situation allow to make restore points which the computer does automatically or can be programmed, a restore point or image of the system, it is like a capture, like a photo that is taken at a certain moment, if an eventuality occurs. After the creation of this, the same system can provide the possibility of accessing and returning to that moment with the consequent loss of the applications that had been installed after that date, but the files created by the users such as documents, presentations, etc.

It is highly recommended to back up the information that we consider very important in other media such as additional internal or external hard drives, CD, pendrive, or even on the internet itself, you always have to play with two or three alternatives to save the data and not regret with some loss of information. Tener una computadora en nuestro país en óptimo funcionamiento es a veces complicado, a pesar de que esta siga trabajando y no percibamos algún cambio, las constantes fluctuaciones e interrupciones del sistema eléctrico, van mellando el Sistema de la maquina o software, en otros casos puede el daño ir mas allá y afectar algún componente como la fuente de poder, procesador, tarjeta madre u otro.

Cada vez que encendemos nuestro ordenador, el sistema operativo se dirige a ciertas carpetas y de allí despliega una serie de archivos necesarios para su funcionamiento, los apagones de forma abrupta, no le permiten a éste recoger y devolver lo que de sus carpetas saco, en ocasiones estos archivos se dañan, otros se pierden; afectando según sea el tipo, ciertas funciones del sistema o la totalidad del mismo. Los sistemas operativos previniendo esa situación permiten hacer puntos de restauración los cuales hace automáticamente la computadora o  pueden programarse, un punto de restauración o imagen del sistema, es como un capture, como una foto que se toma en un determinado momento, de presentarse una eventualidad posterior a la creación de esta, el mismo sistema puede brindar la posibilidad de acceder y regresar a ese momento con la consecuente pérdida de las aplicaciones que habían sido instaladas posterior a esa fecha, pero permaneciendo los archivos creados por el usuarios como documentos, presentaciones, etc.

Es muy recomendable el respaldar las informaciones que consideremos muy importantes en otros medios como discos duros adicionales internos o externos, CD, pendrive, o hasta en el propio internet, siempre hay que jugar con dos o tres alternativas para guardar los datos y no lamentarnos con alguna pérdida de información. Según sea el sistema operativo y su versión que utilices en tu computadora puedes buscar tutoriales para crear tales puntos de restauración.
