Once again we visited Caracas to enter a historical point of our country. This walk is a fundamental part of the so-called “Nationality System”, a monumental urban complex, created under the government of General Marcos Pérez Jiménez, in order to pay tribute to national values and their heroes. It stretches for several kilometers, connecting the University City of Caracas with the Venezuelan Military Academy.
The Paseo de los Próceres, is one of the most emblematic parts of the urban complex, paying tribute to the illustrious figures of Venezuela's independence, with various statues reminiscent of heroes, and a series of ornamental elements that embellish the ensemble.
