Maná, es una banda de Rock mexicana conocida internacionalmente. Fher, quien es la voz principal de este grupo musical, nació en Puebla, Mexico, el 8 de Diciembre del año 1959.
Pero Maná no habia comenzado aun, el junto con 4 amigos más, decidieron establecerse en Guadalajara, donde comenzaron su carrera musical como grupo llamado Sombrero Verde.
En un principio, la banda cantaba temas de grupos que admiraban como Led Zeppelin y The Beatles, y con la que posteriormente da a conocer sus obras Despiértate y Profesor, escritas por Fher en coautoría con Gustavo Orozco.
Con el tiempo, uno de los integrantes de Sombrero Verde, decide abandonar la banda. Entonces ahí es cuando empieza este ambicioso proyecto musical llamado Maná, una combinación que fusiona el rock, pop y los ritmos latinos.
