The Veleño drum consists of two drums: one that the nephew does, who directs the pause and the other, which does the background and determines the rhythm. Even if the two instruments are played at the same time, one overlaps the other from time to time, making it quieter.
A worthy representation of these rhythms are the Vasallos del Sol, the famous group born 18 years ago in the Popular Culture Workshops of the Bigott Foundation, they have a lot to celebrate this year and they do it in a great way: they have grown up with more taste and more music, a new album and like to share it with the Venezuelan audience.

In 1990, the Bigott Foundation's Popular Culture Workshops were organized in Plaza Venezuela, where between a class of four, some drum rhythm and the performance of the Tamunangue suite, Vasallos del Sol was born, a music and dance projection group that brought together members of all ages and from different parts of the country.

Ten and eight years later, Vasallos would become one of the groups that would cultivate the most prestige in Venezuelan popular culture, numerous prizes, international tours with stages such as Korea and Japan, and seven record productions are the fruits they collect today. #Tamborvele ño
