Pyrography on cork coasters
Pyrography originated a long time ago. With fire and glowing twigs, they already made drawings on the rocks and decorated wooden objects with this fire technique. Today, fortunately, we don't need to light a fire until we have glowing points to draw/paint with them. There are handy pyrography kits for sale that look like soldering irons. Plug the plug into the socket and the bolt will be super hot. The hotter the tip, the darker the burn color becomes.
Wood burning is best done on soft wood, such as lime wood, birch wood, pine, willow or maple wood. Of course, plywood wood is also possible, in the hobby store you will find many boxes, boxes, pendants etc. made of plywood. If you sand it a bit smooth, the wood burning is still easy. You can also choose to burn on leather. Always make sure you have a well-ventilated area and do not hang very close with your nose above it.

Today we did not draw on wood, but on cork pan coasters! That's so smooth and easy! This is also cool for (slightly older) children. No need to press hard, the tip glides over the cork with ease. It's really just drawing with a glowing pen. When purchasing your device, there are always different dots, including round stamps with different motifs.
