I think that the lazy person gets nowhere
Very few people I know agree with this, because most prefer to be connected to a phone all day lying in bed without doing something productive for a living.
And with that time passes and their lives are gone in the blink of an eye.
And when I usually advise people like that, they justify themselves by making excuses for why they are locked up all day.
Sure, you can even get to work through a phone But they don't even do that! Just be aware of their social networks most of the day.
One patient once said to me (during a good conversation) “civilization is only a very thin layer, underneath that we are all monsters”. The man was right, even though hardly anyone wants and can see that.
I think the meaning of life is life itself and trying to be happy.
All the rest is incidental.
I have started to think about this, and seriously, because I know that many things have happened. But the Truth that came most strongly to my mind was...
I think we should be careful when speaking, be careful both with our phrases and with our tone when speaking. I don't mean that in a bad way to argue, but in a good way. Well, sometimes when we usually say something, while we want to say something with those phrases that came out of our lips, there will be many other people who will misunderstand it and think that you meant something else, or what you said, you said reluctantly.
Also, each sentence that comes out of our mouths has so much power, that the things we speak can be fulfilled, so even when we are joking with our words when we speak, we must be very careful.
Although it is a good mental exercise and also for personal growth.
My answer is “every person is essentially love”.
A couple of days ago, my husband, I and our 13 year old daughter were driving to a friend's house around 7 p.m. and saw a young girl sitting on a bike. She had a short top on and a low waste jeans and her back was completely visible. We all noticed it then I saw three young boys following the girl and one of the boys had their mobile phone in his hand was was making a video of the girl's bare back. We drove next to the boys, I rolled down the window and told him that what he was doing was wrong. He apologized and put his phone back in his pocket. Now, my next instinct was to stop the girl and tell her what just happened but then I didn't. I knew what she will tell me, its my right, my body, I can wear whatever I want blah blah blah...
I wish girls understood that their body is not to show off especially if you live in India. Indian is a very conservative country and people mainly men are still not used to of girls in less clothes unlike in other parts of the world. So, I didn't say anything to her and hoped she will learn someday, hopefully without having to face any problems.
I also understand that we need to educate the boys but it will take a lot of time to do so especially in India till then the girls need to know better and keep safe.
In my opinion.
I would say that it is a truth, which for me it is, I don't know for the rest. What I do know is that very few agree
It is that we should be more careful when speaking, when choosing each word that we use, even more so when we talk about a person.
Well, our mouths can bring Blessings but also Curses.
But unfortunately there are many people who believe that it doesn't matter, and in a minute they say like 15 curses, cursing everyone or whatever.
My truth doesn't have to be yours, no more than your truth has to hold for me.
And if the other person is still listening, I might add that that/I'm fine with that.
Superficiality versus actual content.
Why not be good, honest, helpful, correct... because it is the right thing to do? For yourself and others. Why not be respectful towards others, including animals and nature (we have everything to learn from these), earn your honest money, live your life building today but also thinking of what you will leave behind for tomorrow (whether it's for your kids, or whomever comes after you)?
Sometimes I think that society - and the world in general - is not encouraging this behaviour. It is becoming more and more about image - the image you project - regardless of whether you had to starve, steal, cheat or kill to get what you needed. To appear beautiful and successful.
Many waste their time always wanting what is out of their reach and not enjoying what they already have. A bit of ambition is fine and healthy, but the sick pursuit of something which you will never get, prevents you from being happy and thankful for what you have every day. Especially when compared to people who have nothing.
In the end, those may find that they "lived" an image, and not a life.
So you can see that old etiquettes are gradually disappearing in modern times.. This mom is getting old! 😁😅 Super happy and proud of course my daughter getting her dream internship place she was looking forward to.
