One has been in effect for so long and has been maintained over the years as Radio is, sometimes we have favorite stations for the type of music they play. On the other hand, podcasts are increasingly gaining strength in the world of technology, based on their variety in different areas and topics.

Similarities

* Both radio and podcast take a focus on what the listener wants, wants and looks for.

* Content that entertains and informs.

* An introduction that engages the listener to listen to the rest of the content.

* A simple language with words suitable for everyone to understand.

* Good sound production quality that connects the listener and persuades the listener.

Differences

* Radio signal is local, with legal, geographic and technological restrictions due to its transmission medium. The podcast is international, meaning you can hear it from different countries that produce them.

* Radio is aimed at a wide audience; podcasts to a more specific audience as they are commonly based on something like: movies, food, music etc..

* Podcasts offer more specialized and educational thematic content that adds unique and specific value. Radio adds information about the moment and more widespread.

* On radio, the director of programming decides the format and type of content that a producer or maintainer should follow. In the podcast, the producer or maintainer decides how to customize the content according to the audience's reaction.

* On the radio the maintainer is the main attraction for the listener. On the podcast, the titles of each episode are a key attraction that attracts the listener.

Both are a sensational invention for today with pro and cons.
