Ravensburger String-it hobby set thread figures Fox and Panda
You really have to sit down for it, and it might be a bit of a peep. But when you have the battle, you have made this cute fox in thread figure this way! Isn't it a sweetheart? He comes from a craft package from Ravensburger and it's called String-it! There are nice different packages available, but we chose the panda and the fox. Panda? Yeah, there's a panda in the same package. There's enough material in there to make both animals!
String-it is actuallyString Art, art with threads, and that is usually done with a wooden board, nails, hammer and rope. But in this case there is no need to tamper!! There are handy pins that you insert into the hard cardboard plate in the pre-punched holes. We found that a big plus:). The daughter of KaatjeVana was nice busy and we could just have a nice quiet coffee and chat.. ideal!

The pins go in very easily and sit very firmly. And nice job for the kids! Still, we have helped with the wires for a while. It says on the box from 7 years, but we think it might be just a bit too difficult. It is a great activity and absolutely not childish for the slightly older children. String-IT has been so much liked here, that we think it's a real creative recommendation. For repetition and super fun to give as a gift! The result is great, you will enjoy it for years to come. He's already in the bedroom, you know.

At the back you insert the pins easily, the colors are already conveniently indicated on the back.

If the pins are in it, you can start tensioning the wires. You tie the thread to the first pin and then you criss-cross. Start with black, then white and finally the orange threads. It is also useful to know that if you want to stop, you can just stick the wire to the board with a tape. So it doesn't have to be finished in 1x, you know.
