Recipe: Salmon with Lemon from the Slow Cooker
There are several ways to prepare salmon, such as baking in a pan or cooking in the oven. But often the salmon is overcooked or too dry. The ideal way to prevent this is to prepare the salmon in a slow cooker. Because the moisture remains in the pan, the fish won't get dry and you can easily check that the salmon is cooked enough in the meantime. The benefits of adding water (plus possibly wine) and spices are that the salmon preserves its taste and texture and no extra fat needs to be added.
