Recipe tip from Mrs. Dot... Bread pudding...
With stale bread you can make delicious bread pudding... My grandmother made it during the war to have something nice in very difficult times. Her recipe went to my mom and I adapted it a little bit to give this delicious bread pudding a little more flavor.
About 200 g of stale bread and possibly broken biscuits and speculoos
750 ml of milk
50 g of sugar
50 g butter
2 eggs
1 packet of pudding powder
Raisins the amount you choose yourself, the more the sweeter (I replace the raisins with prunes in syrup)
Vanilla (a few drops)
Cinnamon

Method:
Soak the bread in the milk.
Add the butter and the sugar.
Pit the plums.
Pour the syrup from the prunes also over the soaked bread.
Mix everything well together.
Split the eggs.
Add the yolks to the mixture.
Stir well so that the bread absorbs everything well.
