Devils Food Cake

Here is the recipe to the cake that I posted yesterday:

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
1 cup hot coffee (just coffee and hot water, no sugar)
1 cup milk
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla or caramel essence

Method:

Preheat oven to 180 °C

1. Sift all the dry ingredients together in a large bowl
2. Add the oil, coffee and milk and mix at a medium speed for two minutes
3. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat the batter for another two minutes. The batter should be thin
4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes

*The cake tastes better if kept in a refrigerator, trust me it really tastes different after spending a few minutes in the fridge 😋
