Colored cookies for children:

This recipe has a great acceptance among the little ones, due to the presentation with multiple colors.

These are made practically the same way and with the same recipe. They are very tasty and very original I recommend you to do them and do not lose the chance to make them with your children <3.

ingredients
Butter or margarine at room temperature, 125 grams.
Sugar, 125 grams.
Egg, 1 unit.
Flour, 250 grams.
Lemon or orange zest, 1 teaspoon.
Colours of various colors.

Preparation
In a bowl place butter and sugar. Join well forming a cream. Add lemon or orange zest and egg and mix again until well integrated.
Add the flour gradually until it is completely mixed. There should be a smooth and soft mass that will be worked on the table for it to take body. Divide it into portions. Add a few drops of different dye to each serving.
Knead well so that the color spreads evenly. Wrap each serving with film wrap and set aside in the refrigerator for an hour.

Remove the dough from the cold and stretch each separately. With the help of children, give it the shape you want. You can also combine pieces of dough so that the cookies have various colors.

Place the cookies on a greased and floured plate and bake on moderate to low heat (approximately 160°), for 15 minutes. Remove and let cool. They last several days if stored in a closed container.
