Refill stations in drugstores
Consciously dealing with
Refill stations for detergent & shampoo
We all know that the seas have turned into a plastic soup, and I think everyone knows that we have to deal differently with our products and the waste we produce. I try, but I don't always find it easy, I must confess. I am in favour of consciously dealing with the environment and the environment, but I also think that it is not always made easy for us. I also think that Politics is putting too much on the shoulders of consumers and I am talking about the cost. I think that many consumers would want much more and do much more if the costs were lower and it would be easier to reach. Reuse is not an issue for me because it is so in my system that I have no problem with it. I think about recycling and restyling at the assembly line, but I would like to do more. But I notice that the steps I can take now are complicated by location, financial resources and offer.
Detergent I made myself for a while. And I was quite satisfied with that and actually I have to pick it up again. I quit when my two big pans fell — because I need quite a few quantities with a large family — but I realize now that since I got new big pans, I haven't picked up the detergent making. Pretty stupid, actually.
Besides detergent, I also make my own scrubs. I started this one day because I actually thought they were terribly expensive. I scrub - especially when the bare skin is time - very like and regularly. To make a scrub you only need salt and/or sugar and oil. That's really the only thing and it works perfectly. You can also use fragrances or for example coffee but that doesn't have to be good. The scrubs I make pottery, I use glass jars with jam for example (just note that you use a jar with a wide opening). That way you reuse and you are doing double well.
