Remember the #diskette?
In the header photo you can see a big stack of floppy floppy floppy.
Diskettes were magnetic memory carriers for your computer, the successor to the larger floppy disk.
In both floppy and floppy #floppy disk contains a disk covered with a magnetic layer, on which files can be stored. The #floppy is the improved execution of the #floppy 3.5 inch diameter disk. The highly fragile magnetic disc is neatly stored in a plastic case.
