Eagle Eye and Ji Lang had an appointment with the members of the Skeelers in the Swift after the experiment with Stephen in Gekko's apartment. We agreed that the next day we would inform Gekko about possible ways of thinking to help the Resistance sabotage the CCD.

Stephen decided to wait a while to address his contacts. He would first think carefully about who was eligible for this and whether he could trust those people. At this time, everyone before him was a big question mark. Especially considering the fact that they had a trail that led to the Old World.

People were working to secure our apartments from spy satellites, thanks to our clever Gekko. So there we just got in the way. In addition, promise makes guilt, I thought. I promised Stephen I'd show him my parents' home and we didn't really have anything to do right now.. I suggested that Stephen do this now. Apparently, he was looking at this. I also wanted to see how he would react to my parents' tastes about their living style, which was a bit more than the interior of my apartment and the western architecture that I think Stephen was more in touch with.

I came to a strange observation. I was very surprised that I was interested in what Stephen felt about me and my way of life. What did he think about the Akai? He thought I was a soul paw? Did he find our ideas outstride or had some contact with them?? He was a banging of a guy who could get out of the corner sometimes, but I suspected he also had a soft side. As he told about his half-sister and his parents, it had struck me deeply, especially since I had experienced such a situation myself. I was slowly starting to realize that I might have had a hand for that Western giant. With his brown eyes that sometimes fired fire, at another time you could look as melancholy as a young deer and make me blush at the strangest moments. The stupid thing about it was I didn't even know why. Should this sensation be described with reasons? It was always a double feeling I had with him. On the one hand, I trusted him, we had lived too much together lately to doubt it.. On the other hand, he was from the Old World and only now I realized that I, who thought I had no prejudices, caught myself occasionally in a stereotyped image that I imagined of the inhabitants of that other world. To my satisfaction, I was delighted that Stephen had punished that statue so far.
