Requiem: Chapter 32
After the mail Feliciano Díaz had received from Gerekko Dai, he had scratched himself in the hair. Strange man who is Japanese, but a genius on his property. Software and programs had no secrets for this guy from the New World. Gerekko would take care of the means to sabotage the Chip Coding Device. He did ask Feliciano for the manpower to install the means he was going to figure out on the spot. That meant that he needed an ICT expert and a few male sputters who could access at the appropriate time in a place where one could not normally just walk in.. The CCD was located in a high-security office in the center of the Basement. Automatically he thought of Iléna Federova. She was a woman who could stand her man, especially in the area of Aikido where she excelled. He had sent a small message to both her and the other members of his cell via coded mail to arrange a meeting in the Won Good.
The drinks were served and the four were together for the umpteenth time to discuss the further steps Feliciano had discussed with Gerekko.
'Iléna, I need a man or woman who gets into the Basement where the CCD is located after service. So someone with special skills. Your presence at that moment could also be of use to the impact force if necessary. Do you know anyone who could meet those conditions?'Iléna sipped her drink and looked around with her grey-green eyes at her friends of the Resistance, who in turn were thinking about Feliciano's question.
Edmond Foster would like to throw his weight into the scale when it was a test of strength, but this required more qualified qualities that he did not possess. He felt a bit like the fifth wheel to a wagon in the cell of four. Feliciano always came to the foreground with his facts from the ICSA. Iléna was a seductress for potential male targets and Aikido practitioner a good asset to the cell. Lucy Nicholson had the leadership qualities needed for a cell, maybe even to organize something on a larger scale. Edmond wanted to make himself useful, but until now he had not been able to prove himself, which somewhat frustrated him.
