Requiem: Chapter 33
Eagle Eye had conceived the plan to track down Masowa on his own. His intention was to ask if he knew anything more about the serial killer as many of the victims were found in the area where the Cannibals committed their food raids. He had left a message by the rock where the girl he had once killed. A question for audience with the presumably leader of the Cannibals. The next day the message was gone. He knew Masowa had found it. Eagle knew it was useless to mention the number of his cell phone because as far as he knew, the Cannibals shun from using electronic devices.
The next morning there was already an answer. A few short sentences scribbled on a crumpled piece of a magazine. Eagle Eye, even though he was not forgiven for a little one, had to swallow.
