I was in the Action a few days ago and then I came across this brush pens. They come in three different packs of 4 pieces each and cost €0.99 per pack. You can use Brushpens for handlettering (nice writing on cards and bullet journals for example) and I wanted to start with that, so I thought: I got the Action brush pens! I was able to review them right now, so hence this review!

I got two packs, the third pack included colors that were very similar to the colours in these sets, so I thought I didn't need them, I wanted to try out the markers first. One picture shows the pens without packaging and the other photo shows the colour release of the markers. If you look at the photo of the colour release, you might have noticed that some of the dashes are split in half. This is because six of the eight brush pens I have are split, very baled!

The split brush pens look like they were cut in half and that's how they colour. I didn't like writing or drawing with these split brush pens, which is the biggest drawback for me. I don't like the colour release either, the color release of the Action Twin markers is a lot finer in that regard.

The brush pens are very nice in the hand because of the shape they have, it feels like you're holding a brush and that's very nice. They also feel very light and that is also nice when writing. Below two pictures of a test with the pens. The red marker was completely whole, the black marker is split.

You can see that the text written with the black pen appears a bit messy, but the red pen writes quite nice in itself. The bristles of the brush pens are quite long, which makes it a bit harder to draw a smooth line, so that's a disadvantage.
