When you see the beautiful cover of Van mensen en waterspiders by Hendrikje Koeren, you get the idea that you are going to read a book full of nature. It is nice that both the wet cobweb and the daffodil are both found in the poems. The title makes you curious about the book. The title will soon become clear and you can only come to the conclusion that they did the right thing to choose this title. By the way, it's hard to imagine that people with a fear of spiders would want to skip this book just because of the title, but that would be a shame if they did, because this collection of poems isn't scary at all, even if the title sounds scary to them.

The poems can be read separately, so you can decide which poem to start with, which poem to read next and which poem to end with. This collection of poems is also suitable for reading in bed or in between, for example, if you have to wait for something.
