At some point, the title becomes clear in the story and you can only conclude that they did the right thing to choose this title. The subtitle gives a glimpse of what you can expect from the book.
In On a different track, Vanda Borgart de Crasto tells her life story. The author has experienced a lot since childhood, both many lows and a number of highs. Her backpack is well filled. The author set out to find herself and her family history and met many people who were very important to her or her family. The author discovered that she had more in common with her family than she could have ever imagined, that many of them are also in her family's genes, and these are not always fun things.
