When you see the beautiful cover of Rust Zacht by Wim Hendrikse, you immediately know that this is part of the Eyewitness series. You immediately get the feeling that this part is literally about corpses or that it mainly takes place in a sinister cemetery. The title makes you curious. You want to know if it's meant to be sarcastic or just meant to be affectionate. After reading this section, you can only conclude that the title was chosen very well, that there is no better title for this part. If you have not read the previous parts of this series, it is recommended that you read them first before starting this part, as there are sometimes references to something from one of the previous parts.
In Rust Zacht by Wim Hendrikse, Richard Hamelink slipped into a deep coma after a complex operation. The question is whether he will ever figure it out or whether his wife and son will ultimately have to make an impossible choice. And should he wake up from the coma, what is his life likely to be like? Dilemmas that can be familiar to many people, because they have wrestled or are struggling with them themselves.
