Review: Together Alone by Nico Torrenga

When you see the moving cover of Together Alone by Nico Torrenga, you want to know what the boy should not say and why he is so sad. You get an idea that he has a very big secret. The title makes you curious. You want to know what it means.
In Together Alone by Nico Torrenga, the protagonist mourns his daughter who died in an accident. Two years later, his stepmother dies and while looking for her papers, he stumbles across old photos and comes into increasingly conflict with himself. The photos match the images that always appear in his nightmares and one of the photos shows a girl who looks just like his dead daughter. He longs to learn more about it and decides to go to Le Tréport in Normandy, hoping to get answers to his many questions. It will be a journey you will never forget, a journey that reveals a gruesome past.
Right while reading the prologue in Together Alone by Nico Torrenga, you want to keep reading, even though it's still so awful to read. You have to deal with the child right away and hope that the child will eventually have a happy life.
