A lot of people ask me why I teach. The answer is simple: I believe my students can change the world.
That's why I'm so happy that for the first time ever I can bring the great 700-degree education I teach about Wealth and Poverty in its entirety. It's also completely free. I put in an abbreviated syllabus so you can do the most important lectures, if you want to.

You get all 14 weeks of my lectures and slides - and see how my 700 students respond to interactive quizzes, puzzles, and short role-playing scenarios. I don't tell students what to think; I challenge them to think harder. I promise I won't judge you too harshly. In fact, I don't give you exams — and you'll even get a certificate once you've completed the course. I designed the course to give students — and now you — a deeper understanding of why income and wealth inequalities have increased significantly over the past 40 years in the United States. Given that most of the underlying factors that trigger this trend also occur in other countries, lessons learned are likely to be relevant elsewhere. But we will also explore why such inequalities are more extreme in the United States than in other wealthy countries.

The course also aims to provide insights into the political and public policy debates that have arisen in the face of these ever-expanding inequalities, as well as possible means of returning them.
I hope you guys will participate.
