#sustainability    What do we mean by sustainable city? One definition could be that it offers a high quality of life to its inhabitants while respecting the environment and social cohesion. That said, we can add that the ideal sustainable city model must be able to take advantage of waste as raw materials.

In addition, it should contribute to the maintenance and creation of green spaces and the use of natural resources such as water and electricity. Finally, it must have spaces for leisure and culture of its inhabitants. In short, it must be a city based on ecological principles and equality for all its inhabitants.
Use energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

To achieve all this, reflection, training and learning for all citizens is essential. It means raising awareness about the environment and the importance of keeping the city clean.
What are the principles for a sustainable city?
For a population to be sustainable, it is essential that public and private administrations provide quality services to their citizens and that people be aware of the need to contribute to achieving a balance between the environment and natural resources.
Here are the requirements for achieving a sustainable city:
Reduce CO2 emissions.
Generate and maintain green spaces in cities.
Encourage urban mobility and public transport among citizens.
Promote recycling and use of already recycled materials.
Facilitate citizens' access to basic public facilities (such as education, public transport, selective collection...).
