Role playing game, essential for the development of imagination in children

How can we do it?

Give them dolls and puppets:


1. Create material boxes

They are a most versatile resource. These are boxes (or baskets or bags) that contain material for creative play; for example the flower shop, the office, the restaurant and the post office. Having materials in these boxes allows children to play with them and expand their ideas. Of course, it is very likely that they will end up using the office computer, the flowers and the food in the restaurant to set up a house or anything else that has nothing to do with it. But that's the beauty of imagination.

2. Give them free time

This type of game requires more than a period of time of twenty minutes. On the contrary, it pays to have the kitchen (or any other scenario conducive to role play) set up permanently or for a few days and let the children explore and increase their imagination.
