Rolling Stones at the Kurhaus in Scheveningen
On August 8, 1964, almost 60 years ago. “Import of uglies”, is how the Telegraph announced the arrival of a new British band, the Rolling Stones, to give a concert there. Of course, they weren't that popular back then. Indeed, this was their first performance on the European mainland. The young Rolling Stones and their concert in The Hague that went completely out of hand.

“First, you had that support act, well, the audience had no message about that at all.” The support act takes far too long and there are artists playing who are far from comparable to The Stones. Trix & The Paramounts, The Fouryo's and the then unknown The Motions. The Motions who reached number 3 in 1965 with the single 'Wasted Words'. The song 'Wasted Words' is still relevant to this day.
