After this very inspiring alberque we go back on the road. It will be a long day because we walk to a point where we have to make the decision to walk straight ahead in Samblismo and stay overnight in Pola de Allende or do two stages in a day and via a road through the mountains to Berducedo, la Ruta de los Hospitales. It can only be walked in good weather, if it is foggy or rainy you no longer see the signs and you are so lost, they say.
But it's not there yet, we have to walk to Borres, 28 km.
We walk in a row, the road is rising so I'm at the forefront. Hugh has already had two open heart surgery and has some difficulty rising.
