Two years ago, by chance, I came across this Ted Talk by British Professor Sir Ken Robinson.
This professor, initially somewhat dorky looking, knighted by the British Queen, gave a speech about how creativity is (under-appreciated) appreciated in the current education system. In his own way and with striking examples, he shows that the current system of education should be based much more on the individual talents of pupils.

Or, as he says, “You have to conclude that the whole goal of public education is to produce university professors worldwide. They come out as the top players. I was one myself. And look at me...” With a lot of self-ridicule. Delicious.

His message touched me right in the heart and never let go of me again.

I wish this Tedtalk everyone! The Ted Talk is exactly 15 minutes and 40 seconds of entertainment.

Schools kill creativity
