The neutrino is an electrically uncharged subatomic elementary particle. Most of the neutrinos that land on Earth come from the Sun. Every second, every square inch of space near the Earth, which is perpendicular to the direction of the sun's rays, is overtaken by 65 billion solar neutrinos.

Scientists at the NOVA detector in the USA and the T2K experiment in Japan have joined forces to unravel the secret of the neutrino.
