Seahorses crafting paper plates
They are special animals that belong to the fish, they have a head like a horse and have a long snout. They are cute ocean animals, but actually they can't swim very well at all, you know! They are not fast and prefer to linger between plants and rocks. Not too deep in the water they hold on with their tail, nice relaxed! They eat all day long because they don't have a stomach!

Every season the seahorse is looking for a new partner. Instead of the female, the male is pregnant with the seahorses! That is, of course, very special. The female puts the eggs in the pouch of the male. There the babies grow in a few weeks and the male then gives birth with several baby seahorses at the same time. Funny, huh?
Unfortunately, the seahorses are threatened with extinction! There are people who make medicine out of it and other people like to dry the animals and sell them to tourists etc. Also, due to the pollution of the sea and the decline of the coral in the seas, there are fewer and fewer seahorses living. That is terrible, of course!

Seahorse tinkering is of course always possible and is always fun. These seahorses with glitters are made of a paper plate and beautiful glitter paint from Creall. Below you can see how easy it is. Draw the pattern on a plate. The Creall glitter paint covers the best on the back of the paper plate (the convex side), because there is no gloss coating on it.

After cutting, you can paint them (or paste them with pieces of paper), stick the fins to them, stick eyelets and draw the mouth and curl in the tail. Ready is your seahorse! As an extra you can stick beautiful glitter stones on it, but even without decorations it is already a funny result. Don't you think?
