Traditionally, its creation for the first time was in the year 1679, by a talented baker named Antonio Brunero. He invented this food to feed the future king (then still the Little Duke of Savoy of Turin, Vittorio Amedeo II), being in poor health so he could not digest the soft part of the bread. So the doctor who treated the king suggested to Baker Antonio, a risen bread, crispy and with little crumb, that was very light. And just came out the new invention of the very famous GRISSINI bread!
