Draw ants, put them in the oven and they shrink. A little unbelievable, maybe? Yet that is what it is! Your drawing on shrink film becomes 3x smaller and 9x thicker when it goes in the oven for 30 seconds!

Ants are very busy, hard-working animals. In the book The worldly wisdom of ant by Philip Bunting you can read all about it! With nice drawings you get into the world of the ant, there are many interesting facts in it and after reading this book, you are also a real ant fan! Drawing an ant is very simple, if you have drawn three of them on a scrap paper, then you just draw them out of hand. Just look, how to draw an ant step by step:

Draw the ants with permanent markers, e.g. the Collall Krimpie Markers. Cut them out and put them on aluminum foil. Do you want to make keychains or bag hangers out of it? Then perforate a hole in it, BEFORE IT IN THE OVEN! After shrinking it becomes hard and you can't perforate a hole in it anymore.

Preheat the oven to 175 degrees, and when it's at temperature, the ants go in for 3 seconds. It's super nice to see how they shrink curly because of the heat. When they lie flat again after 30 seconds, remove them with an oven mitt and press them with the fist (with oven mitt) extra flat.
