Sinterklaas surprise Aladdin oil lamp
Some schools have a theme around the Sinterklaas surprises. If you have the theme of Fairytales, then there are countless things you can make. One of them has Blanka White made: see here, the oil lamp of Aladdin. As soon as you rub the lamp, this cheerful spirit comes out. So you can make 3 wishes! A nice Santa Claus gift, right? That's what everyone wants, such a witty oil lamp!
Making this Aladdin lamp is not ready very quickly. You make the lamp out of a balloon, stick it with papier-mache, so it needs to dry for a few hours before you can paint. But with some patience and the right materials, of course, it will become a great and original surprise.
- Big Ballon/Punch Balloon (Action). (hanging/pasting)
- Old newspapers torn into strips.
- Wallpaper glue
- Cardboard, for the spout, handle, the bottom of the lamp and for the mind.
- Gold-colored paint spray
Print an image of the mind in A3 format, 1x ordinary and 1x in mirror image. Cut out and paste 1 print on thick cardboard. Cut it out first and then paste the other cut out print on the back.
Blow up the balloon and hang it in a place where it's easy to craft.
