Sinterklaas treat
These little bits just filled the shoes and just came out of the chimney. Actually, they don't want to be seen, but we caught them anyway! They each have a bag of candy (peppernuts and foams) with them, especially for you!
It is a nice decorative treat, which even small children can make themselves! Well, with some preparation as adults, but in addition, the children can also get to work on their own. You will need paper, paint and a little crepe paper. And oh, some colored feathers would be nice too!

Method:
-
Stick painting tape (paper adhesive tape, which hardly sticks) on a white sheet of A4 paper (200grams), in the form of bricks.
- Let the children paint the leaf with a sponge reddish-brown
- Let the kids an A5 sheet of black sponges
- When the red sheet is dry, you can gently pull off the tape, and fold it in quarters and glue it with adhesive tape
-
Put a round object on the back of the black paper (if it is dry) and pull over with pencil. Let the circle cut out, that will be the head of Piet
-
Make a peat hat with decoration tape (washi tape) and crepe paper (bigger children can do this themselves)
-
Stick a feather and wobbly eyelets
-
Lower the bag of candy into the chimney. Stick the whole on a piece of cardboard if you want a bottom.
-
Stick Pietje in the chimney or stick it to a satestokje and insert the stick into the closure of the candy bag.
