Fourteen days ago, I found the skull, presumably a woodpecker, in my garden at the back door. I put it on the bonsai table on the other side of the house.

Two days later, I found the same skull in about the same place. Because it had blown quite a bit at night, it was not entirely impossible that it had flown back all the way around the house. When I had picked it up and put it back on the table, I saw that the skull of two days earlier was still untouched. Two skulls in a week in the same place, that's unusual considering that in the 35 years we've lived there, a skull had never been found before.

And now it's getting really weird. Today was in the same place, this find that I first thought was also a skull.

According to @the_doctormom is dit zeer waarschijnlijk het bekken van een dier (zie reactie hieronder).

Now I have three skeletons around my Bonsai collection. Luguber may be, but at least the birds will stay out of my pots.
