Sloth illustration - step by step

In four steps, I'll show you how I built the illustration. I work in Autodesk Sketchbook Pro (unsponsored). But in principle, this is possible in many drawing programs.

Here is the end result of my sloth. I always fall in love with my creations.

  1. First, I drew the contours of the sloth with clean lines.
  2. In the second image, you can already see that I'm making the overflows in the header. I also added a branch.
  3. In the third image, I continued with the transitions and added a background.
  4. To the last image, the final illustration, I added structures. A furry effect on the sloth, and a canvas effect on the entire illustration.
