The smoke chair, as this chair used to be called, was in many a living room. It was a chair where you could relax and enjoy a 'yummy' cigar or cigarette. The backrest could be rearward at different positions. My grandpa and grandma also had one in the living room. Next to the chair was a chrome standing ashtray with a push button. When I was a kid, I always found the push button very interesting and I often pressed it. The disc then turned around very hard and a terrible stench rose up your nose.
