Snow topped mountains
A couple of months ago, Cape Town was is big trouble as we were running out of water. We really had to use a little as possible everyday. Gardens died out, swimming pools started to crack from us not being allowed to top them up, dams were drying up. It was a difficult time, but Cape Town worked together and "Day Zero" the day it was expected we would no longer have water, never arrived.
During that time I took a flight to visit family and when we flew over mountains just outside of Cape Town I got teary eyed when I saw all this snow on the mountains, because snow means water right?
For some of you, you might think Okay but it's just snow. But you see i South Africa snow isn't such a common thing like it is in many other parts of the world. Though the mountain tops do get some snow, this specific snow fall was a much needed blessing.
