Now that we're not going to fairs with Uncle Roon anymore, Mom's allowed me to watch Netflix a little more often. I think she's already happy that I won't get in her way when she's working at home.
And one of the series I'm currently watching is Violet Evergarden. This series can be found on Netflix for a while, but now a special is added to it. That's why I want to talk about this series.
Where is the origin?
It is a Japanese novel written by Kana Akatsuki and illustrated by Akiko Takase. So it's in comic form and in Japanese it's called Manga. And a cartoon is called Anime.
Who made it?
Kyoto Animation created this anime series and rewarded with the award Best Animation 2019.
What's it about?
There has been a war, and at the end of this war, a young soldier, Violet, must build a new life. She doesn't really remember much about her past, and we find her at the beginning of the series in a hospital where she's recovering from her injuries. Emotions she has tucked deep away, making her feel rather unworldly. Via via via she gets a job as a typist, not a regular job because she has to translate the emotion of the letter sender on paper. Through this work she hopes to learn more about her own emotions.
The series is getting started a bit slowly, but I advise everyone to keep watching.
The special I have not seen yet, will be online soon. But I'm sure I'm gonna check it out. #cartoon #anime #strip #oomroon #soofje #diniez #diniedezeeuw #humor #ronaldkroon #groteneuzenenpuntoren #stripwereld #stripbeurs
