#Forsythia (also called flowering wood and/or Chinese bell) is a genus of shrubs in the olive family. The bushes stand out in the spring due to the yellow flowers. There are six main species and some crossed species. The genus is named after William Forsyth, one of the founders of the Royal Horticultural Society.
Forsythia blooms in spring, is not really picky as regards soil type and prefers a sunny spot
