Sprouts Journey of Discovery: A Lesson in Being Different in Mrs. Groentje's Garden
On a sunny morning in Mrs Groentje's garden, Sprout, a young leek, emerged from the earth in amazement. He looked around and saw Carrot, Tomatoes, Garden Peas and Aubergine standing beside him. Spruitje quickly noticed that he looked different from the rest.
“Why do I look so different” Spruitje asked in amazement. “I don't have a dark green leek stalk, but I'm still sweaty. And who are all these other vegetables”
The other vegetables started laughing and reassured Spruitje. Carrot, a happy carrot with a pointy end, explained: “Everyone looks different, Sprout. That's what makes us unique and special”
Tomatoes, with their shiny red skin, nodded in agreement. “Exactly! Look at us, we are all different but together we form a beautiful garden”
