It's such cute critters, the squirrels! You just really want to craft them.? And all the way in autumn, because an autumn without squirrels is (almost) no autumn! Unicorns can be made in different ways, from all kinds of materials. From clay, paper, beads, kitchen rolls, you name it! We've gathered a few for you here, and soon this collection will be replenished. Because crafting a squirrel with toddlers, preschoolers as well as older children and even adults is just super fun!

The rodent is very decorative of itself and wants to stand or hang in every bedroom and bedroom. So he can show his beautiful tail to everyone! And it hardly needs anything in return, occasionally some tree seeds, beech nuts or acorns is enough! Did you know that they also love berries, mushrooms, leaves and occasionally even a delicious caterpillars?

Finish a squirrel with crepe paper or washi or blotting paper! Very simple, even for toddlers, and it's fun to do. A squirrel can be orange or brown, but of course colored fantasy squirrels are also possible. Bisma from Melbourne (Australia) of Play with Mummy sent in these photos just for us and told us:

Draw a squirrel on paper while the kids can tear orange paper and make small balls. Have them stick the tissue clots on the tail (for a fluffy effect) and stick the flat torn pieces of paper onto the bodice. It's also a good practice for fine motor skills.! Do you happen to have brown or green tissue paper? Then cover the background like a cosy forest so that the squirrel feels comfortable at home.
