The American space company SpaceX is building up a satellite network. This network should start giving fast access to the Internet. In total, the Starlink project will consist of thousands of satellites that will float in relatively low orbit around the Earth (about 440 km, climbing to 550). It is already the largest satellite network in the world, while 60 satellites have only been launched a few times, and SpaceX is licensed for tens of thousands of satellites!

The sixty satellites now on display were launched by SpaceX from Cape Canaveral (Florida, USA) on the night of 16 - 17 April 2020.
