Starting at the beginning... poem.

Hi!

My first post after my” #imnewhere "...

Looking around the site, read posts, lots of info done.
But also figured; how now; what am I going to do.
I want to post about our family, Serious posts, and other posts between.

But then I have to start at the beginning..

I have 3 boys and am married.
The boys are
Y: 13 (Ass and ADHD)
R:12 (Ass)
YES: 8.

By the beginning I mean: The birth of our 2nd son..

For this I read a poem I made on the day we “instructed” him.
in the church congregation.

Dear.., August 30, 2009

We commissioned you today,
“Lord, do you want to take R in your arms” was the question.

Mom was pregnant with you, and we were allowed to look at you,
the first ultrasound, we were 12 weeks pregnant showed.

Such a first moment is always very beautiful,
but unfortunately, they saw a way too thick neck fold with you.

This gave a lot of tension and that's where our long journey began,
we were allowed to look at you a little longer because you were a bit stubborn.

It was for the 20 weeks of ultrasound waiting,
to exclude things from what they thought.

Your heart did well, your back was closed, everything was on it and about it; that was nice!
“but” he said, there's a small chance that you will be healthy.

We were able to share our story and thoughts with family, friends and elders,
but above all, we brought our concerns to our Father, we can only carry this with Him. That's a fact.!

After being able to place all this,
we could enjoy this new young life.

Sooner than planned, we got you in our arms,
this really saw mom and dad as a blessing.

A blessing from our God who knows what our needs are,
mom there gave strength every day during this period despite her many pain.

We've put this whole pregnancy and illness into God's hand,
despite what the medics and other people had said.

After a tough but so beautiful morning on August 3,
we had a HEALTHY son blessed by Jesus Christ!

R, you know, even if you're so small!
That you too may be a child of our oh so great God.!
