Everyone sees the Statue of Liberty as a symbol of that same liberty, that has sold us the United States and today I want to tell a little its story.

The Statue of Liberty was a gift from France to the United States for the centenary of its independence on July 4, 1776. French sculptor Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi was in charge of granting the American country what would be the best known statue in the world, Gustave Eiffel. It was partly who built the internal structure of this magnificent viewpoint.

Yes, the statue is a viewpoint from which you see the city of New York is located in its crown which has seven points representing seven continents, his right hand holds a torch symbolizing light and freedom for the world in his left hand holds a book showing in Roman numerals on independence day of this country (July 4, 1776).

The statue was intended to be delivered on July 4th although they started six years earlier they could not meet the date and was inaugurated on October 28, 1886.
