This book is about wrestling, as a sport and also about the life of the main character. Stephen is obsessed, he wants to be the best in his class and everything has to give way to that. Especially the period when he gets badly injured and has to deal with it is fascinating! Compelling, original and undepressing. Not for everyone, presumably, but what a wonderful book!
