Meestal voor het leven van je huisdier, gewoonlijk niet voor JOUW leven; wij mensen leven meestal langer dan de honden, katten etc.
Eens met je oproep. Als je een huisdier neemt, is het jouw verantwoordelijkheid er goed voor te zorgen, anders moet je er niet aan beginnen. Ik vraag me alleen af, of de mensen die hun huisdier dumpen zich daarvan zullen laten weerhouden door een dergelijke oproep: m.i. weten ze heel goed dat ze fout zitten.
Het is ook nog eens strafbaar:
artikel 2.1 lid 1 WD (dierenmishandeling), art. 2.2 lid 8 WD (dierenverwaarlozing) Daders riskeren een geldboete (max. 19.500 euro) of zelfs gevangenisstraf (max. 3 jaar) als ze achterhaald worden.
