Do not let your negative thoughts get the better of you. If you notice a negative thought in your mind, stop them immediately and think a positive one instead.
Maybe a crazy tip, but it helps. Give your neg thinking brain a name so you can stop it by naming it. For example, every time a neg thought enters your mind you could say ... stop Trudy, we are not going down that road again ... and change your thoughts in something positive.
