A very strange dream

A psychiatrist received one of his patients at his office as any day. his patient explained to him that he had repeatedly dreamed of a man he didn't know. He had a prominent bald head, thick eyebrows and thin lips. While hearing the description, the psychiatrist drew the portrait of the subject. He didn't give it any greater importance and left it on the table.

Things changed when, in their subsequent consultations, two more patients claimed to have seen the same man in their dreams. The psychiatrist decided to make copies of the drawing and send it to several colleagues. Months later, they saw that the number of people who had dreamed of him continued to increase and chose to create a website that recorded all his appearances. The doctors discovered that the mysterious man had sneaked into many people's dreams.

In dreams such a person wore various outfits depending on their appearance. The phenomenon has given rise to multiple conspiracy theories. One of them points out that the intruder is a real person with the ability to break into dreams. Another, even claims that it is a hidden government project to control citizens' lives. The most scientific hypothesis, however, indicates that this face is part of the “common consciousness”.
